lSU is a young team. We will get better and better as the season goes on.

And please no more running in the kicker on punts.

You just cant give away possessions like that.

Where did Neighbors and Fruge come from? Those aren't names that I recognize.

Neighbors was a walk-on this year from Huntsville and Fruge walked-on last year from Notre Dame HS.

I don't think many people understand how young of a squad the tigers are this year.

People think I am a mad man for saying it, but I believe that next year LSU will make a run for the national championship. This year they can be good, nest year they can be great.

Are they still walk-ons, or did they claim a freed up scholarship?

Historically, the odd year SEC schedule is easier. We have Florida, Auburn and Arkansas at home next year. You're not a mad man, I and many that I know agree with you.

No word yet on which walk-ons were given scholarships or if they have given any out yet. Usually hard information to come by.

Actually, I think almost everyone who pays attention agrees with you. Now, some will say Les Miles is too stupid to make it happen. But everyone agrees that next year's team is going to be ridiculously talented and experienced.

And 2013 is looking ridiculous as well. Particularly if we pull in another Top 10 recruiting class in 2011, which is looking likely.
