    Guys, I'm selling my fishing camp. I'm losing money on it, but I have to sell it b/c I'm going through a divorce.

    It says its 12 years old. How much damage did Katrina do and how much is the insurance?

    I bought it after Katrina. It went underwater during Katrina and was completely redone from top to bottom so the effective age of the house is like 4 years old.

    The insurance is about $300 yr. for flood, $400 yr for Hazard and about $1200 yr for wind/hail.

    Taxes are about $750yr.

    Also, it has a brand new metal roof that I had put on about a year ago.

    btw, i grew up going to a friend's camp right there on the jourdan river about a mile away from the casino's... awesome area.

    That's where it is. The Hollywood Casino is, literally, a 5 minute boatride away....5 minute car ride, too.
