Didn't the MSU game show anybody anything?

Screw a TOP time-control offense and the short passes. Strike deep, early & often for a big early lead and keep throwing until the Florida DC keeps 6 or 7 in the box. Then run Scott up down their throats until they puke FB pads.

    Rinse, repeat & lather!

A predictable, conservative, AU type early game plan against Fla will fail.

Fla will stack the line early against LSU to stuff the run. IT'S COMING!!!!

It's like training a dog not to **** on your new carpets.

You whip hiz azz every time he gets down in there and squats, you grab him and toss him (long) into the back yard.

My biggest concern is which Jimbo Fisher shows up. As for people respecting the long pass, it makes no difference what the fans respect, but it does matter what the defense is forced to respect. The LSU receivers have the ability to stretch the field, and the qb has the ability to deliver the ball. The threat and the willingness to attack down the field makes a primarily short, ball control passing game a heck of a lot easier. I just hope Fisher will choose his spots and take a shot down the field when the opportunity is there.

Actually the quick slant was a big hit in the MSU game. LSU has big play recievers that can turn a short gain into a big gain quick, no need to rely on just the long ball. Mix it up, move the chains win the game.

The quick slant was a big hit in the Auburn game. It could've been a bigger hit if occassionaly they throw deep and force the DB's to give some cushion.

I think a deep ball needs to be thrown several times in the game to keep the DB's and S's honest. If Meyers sees that Miles doesn't go deep against quality teams, then he will prepare for that. Lets hope that he prepares the defense to stay up close and Miles decides to let JR loose on a deep hitch.

You have WR's that can spread the field and get the secondary nervous and jittery and you have a QB that has the strongest and most accurate arm for the deep ball in college football right now. USE IT!!!

    Yeah, Podnuh, let's HOPE!

MEYER JUST GOT MISTER MARIAJUANA DT OUT OF THE POKEY. It's a foregone conclusion why they did this. They need beef up front cuz Les is gonna "let er rip" with the rushing attack.

We gonna ALL SEE US A CHAMPEEEEEEN LSU RUSHING ATTACK.

Get ready for 30+ rushes in the game against the #1 ranked rushing dee

FORGET FLA HAS THE 10TH RANKED PASSING DEFENSE IN THE SEC! :dis:

FORGET FLA CAN BE BEATEN WHEN WE GO TO THREE WIDEOUTS

BOWE ------------ DAVIS------------------- DOUCET = VICTORY FOR LSU

    Let 'er rip.

Lets not forget that one of the main reasons we aired it out vs. MSU is because their secondary is horrible. Doesnt mean it will work against every team. I think we should throw it more than we run but we have to establish some balance.:geauxtige

To me, it means they're overdue to get one. Let's just put it off one more game.
