Hey guys, the next 5 weeks and the last 2 ARE our season. The previous wins have been great, but we are getting ready to play the BIG boys now. We have to win in the SEC to stay alive for a NC. This is what is all about. This is what our team has been preparing for. We WILL prevail.

Short term, it hurts. We wanted a win over a top 5 team with game day coming to town. Now we have to deal with an extra focused Florida team.

On the other hand, they are still top 10 & we started the season #2 so our strength of schedule will not keep us out of the NC game. Plus, of further benefit, this is an SEC loss for UF so that gives other teams in the East a better chance of winning the division & giving us a different opponent for the SECCG.

As a practical matter, it's something of a wash as both are LSU opponents.

Otherwise, I was unhappy to see it for two reasons:

1-Florida was overrated, and I wanted LSU to be the one to "expose" them on national TV next week

2-While overrated, Florida is still good...and good teams don't often lose 2 in a row.

We'll see a feisty Fla team next week, no question.

Not revenge against LSU but in the sense of wanting to beat an undefeated conference team. Mess somebody else's season up like AU did to them.

It doesn't matter. LSU knows that Florida's backs are against the wall. Florida will be ready. The Tigers know that if they're not ready, they will lose, then have to turn around and play at Kentucky.

Tim Tebow must go down, hard and often.:eek:ldskule:
