I'd rehire him in a heartbeat. If there's really a reason to be concerned that he doesn't have the coaching chops anymore (I can't believe that) then get him in as recruiting coordinator. Too many studs from his neck of the woods are bypassing us for College Station.
My comment about his coaching was facetious. I would be thrilled if he came back to LSU. We know he can both coach and recruit. Seems like he was picked as a scape goat for failings of their DC and/or Napier. Oh wait, they had co-defensive coordinators which means they didn’t have one.
