1. That's what Dale Brown did, an he followed it to a tee.

  2. i forgot about that. dale did a lot of good but i always felt most of it was for show. strange fella in a good way. but i dont like salesmen.

and I should have said different not strange. Strange is not a good descriptor of dale.

  3. Kind of hate to say this, but I know a few salesman that are good coaches.

I do like the look of the basketball team, gonna be a fun your, might just be what I call fun
  4. You did good with the description.
They will be on ESPN2 against Tx Tech, Tuesday night

  5. coaches have to be salesmen nowadays for their programs.

but also mommy, daddy, shrink, friend, etc. the world is soft and this makes a coaches job much much harder.

  6. So true, not an easy job. Families get hit hard, takes a good wife and kids to make it work also

  7. Dale said a lot of off the wall things but you still always knew he was a human. Sometimes I wonder if Les is a factory reject robot
  8. I'd say odds are good and agree with Tirk, it was easily time for Muschamp to go.

  9. Yep they had great odds when they hired Galen Hall, Charlie Pell, Ron Zook, Gary Darnell and Muschamp.

Yep, take away SOS and Cryer, that's what they hired since the 70's, great list, but then again, anyone can win at Florida, great job and an easy one to go undefeated every season.

Time for Champ to go, when was it time to hire him?
  10. Agree, and I thought it was a poor hire, so maybe florida will bungle this again. I won't feel too bad for em.

I hear what you're saying, it's hard enough to find a good coach; when you got questionable folks in charge of the hire its that much harder.

Pay money for a search committee; it worked with Saban. I just don't think its better to be mediocre than to risk failure.
