Sorry, just saw this, no only Florida this year as of now. Everything is subject to change at any given time but that is what is planned. Of course last year I wasn't going to a home game at all and ended up at the Georgia game so stranger things have happened!
I forgot to mention that Florida will not be battle-tested before they play us. Tennessee is not looking very good and Kentucky may be the second or third WORSE team in the SEC. They'll get a bye week after walking over their competition and come in not MENTALLY prepared for what we'll bring. After all, they hung "half a hundred" on us last year...:rolleye33: Maybe that's wishful thinking. Maybe not. But it's how I see it.
Another way to look at it - LSU could be all that stands between UF and a second straight BCS Champ game. And they have the week off to prepare and heal. I have a feeling they'll be plenty motivated and ready for a night in Tiger Stadium. So far, the SEC East is looking weak and Florida doesn't have to play either Bama or Ole Miss (or Auburn, for that matter). Not trying to be Debbie Downer - just keeping another perspective in play. :geaux: :thumb:
This is the one game that makes me feel like a giddy high school girl before prom. I don't know what to make of this, simply because there's so many questions that haven't been answered yet. Does our D continue to improve? - Hopefully, but realistically anything is possible. After only two games we can't really know what this team is truly made of, mostly because we have no idea about the caliber of teams we've played thus far. Does the offense have something other than a two-page, 11-play playbook? - We'd like to think a lot of the more "vanilla" playcalls are due to it being early in the season (though many would love to blame it on La Chupacabra, the feud between CLM and CGC), thought the possibility remains that Jefferson really doesn't have a full grasp on the offense- or even more terrifying, that the offensive line is having a hard time grasping them. How dominant is the Florida defense? - They're dominant. We get it. The question is, how dominant? Realistically, we should be able to make some plays, but if we can't sustain drives, go ahead and mark it down as an L already. Will Tebow be healthy? - Cause if he's not... this is a different ballgame. Will someone put bad gris-gris on them? - Hopefully, no one starts a game thread early or anything... oops.
I'm not saying we are going to beat them They will be favored and SHOULD be. But I really think that the ONLY team on their schedule who has a realistic shot is us. I think the loss of Harvin will definitely affect them. That guy was one hell of a playmaker and they used him all over the field. Also the guy they recruited to take his place, Debose, is also out for the season with a torn hammie. Now Florida still has a ton of athletes and they depend on speed & shiftyness and getting those guys in space. I think we are the only team with a ton of athletes who have the speed to match up pretty good. The emphasis will be do NOT miss tackles. The only wild card I see is to hope Tebow doesn't have one of his "out of his mind" games and just takes over. Our best chance with him is to pound him every chance we get without getting a roughness penalty. Even Tebow is susceptible to pounding and it may take some of the edge off of him. I wonder what Psalm he will have written in his eye black for that game.........Into the valley of death......LOL
This game is going to fall on the backs of our Linebackers, and our offensive line. can our O line protect jefferson, and can our linebackers make plays in space. If thes 2 units play lights out, we have a very good chance of winning this game.
