As it turns out it was a good choice and made LSU lots of money! He played very well.

However, I wouldn't burn the RP shirt BUT I would put Skyler Green back there all night long!

Les Miles is not going to burn his redshirt.

    Dont get all worked up.

We have 2 QBs and we have Chris Jackson and Skyler Green to play QB if needed.

This may be good. It brings an element of mystery for Miami to prepare for.

I think Flynn is a damn good quaterback, but the bowl game might be his first and last full game as a LSU quarterback. Even if he has a good game. Next year the starting job is going to be for the man that got us to this point (JR), and RP is going to be the guy signaling in the calls (2nd string quarterback). Im glad Flynn decided to stay at LSU, but I think he could have been at big time college playing ball and doing well. Anyway, I cant wait to see what A. Broussard is going to do next year in the backfield. Hes Baaaack!!!!

Don't be so sure about that. What do you know about Perrilloux that makes you think he will be second string? Is it what you've seen of him at the college level? I doubt it because he hasn't played a single game. Flynn may very well be 2nd or even 1st string next year.

honestly i think your football knowledge doesn't go very far. you need to quit the bull **** "playing at college level" crap. exactly how good did flynn play in the all star game against the nations top prospects? if you don't understand how things work you need to quit yapping your mouth, the only reason flynn was the back up this year was to save rp's redshirt period. there was "NEVER" any doubt who would start out of flynn and jr. if jr would have gotten hurt midseason there would be no doubt that the redshirt would have been pulled and rp would have played. at this point in the season with only a bowl game the coaches won't pull his redshirt even though he is better than flynn. those who mouth off about flynn beating rp for the backup position need to stick to volleyball or something and leave your opinions out of the football context.

We have a ton of guys that played QB in HS on this team that could all stand back there and hand the ball of if that's what it comes to.

    Addai
    Prude
    Doucet
    Green
    Jackson
    Carey

Probably more. And then we have James Welker who has actually practiced at the position this year.

Who thinks it would be cool to see 5 foot nothing Carey behind center? Now that would make me laugh.

    :hihi:

Look, Perrilloux very well might beat out both Flynn & JaMarcus next season. I don't know & neither do you. All I'm saying is that Flynn & JaMarcus have 2 more years in the system & some college experience, which does a considerable job of seperating them from Perrilloux.

You are basing your opinions on RP's hype, results & potential from High School. Plenty of 4 & 5 star recruits have gone on to be nothing at all. None of us have seen what RP has done in the past year. Maybe he's gotten even better, maybe he's regressed due to the learning curve. The point is that you don't know.

Perhaps you should STFU & learn a little more about what exactly you don't know.
