:thumb: That would be funny, he would not have to bend over to take the snap. I like that guy and would love to see him take a couple of snaps but smart money says Flynn all the way.
I apologize for not realizing you were the world's foremost expert on LSU's players. How foolish I must have been for listening to coaches say Flynn and JR were in tight competiton. Coaches? What do these guys know about talent. After reading your post, I'm now wondering why Flynn even has a scholarship. He's obviously just there to model off the uniform on the side line. P.S. prospects is the key word in your post. lots of people look good against prospects that don't make it in D1 football. After all, these prospects at that time are still high school players. A team full of high school prospects is absolutely nothing compared to the weakest of SEC teams. Josh Booty was unbelievably good against prospects. Even Bill Walsh, a man who knows a thing or 2 about football, said Booty was the best HS QB he'd ever seen play. That just didn't translate real well into the college game.
There is no doubt RP has all the physical attributes to be a great QB; yet I don't know how you can be SO SURE that RP will beat out Flynn since he did not have the benefit of two years in the system. There's a lot more to assimilate than what meets the eye. There seems to be fans that are sophisticated who knows and appreciates the complexities of the game, and then there are the unpolished ones with their illogical opinions and :dis: crass remarks. ________ Voyeur camera
:geauxtige ...from the horse's mouth "I'm not playing in the bowl game, it even hurts when I sleep.." Flynn is going to be ready, he will make some mistakes, but he will also make some great plays in a great win in one of only three bowl games featuring top ten teams. ldskule: LSU Tigers 2005 Peach Bowl Champions ldskule:
From what ive read, that welker kid is a good quarterback. He's from cali i think and even leinart said "LSU got a good one" anyways... go matt FLYNN
Flynn will be in for a very tough test. Miami played lights out against UF in last year's Peach Bowl and I expect the same this year. Their D is fast as lightening
