    They are up there in the Red River drainage (see red area of map)

    They are exclusively a fresh water species and are never found in marine environments...well almost never. There are fossil records that indicate that they used to have a salt water presence. Here is a picture of the famous Cuban "Sea Gar"

    Hey - For the velveeta/cream cheese dip - Do you have to keep it warm? or is is still "dippable" at room temp?
