Ben Wilkerson, our freshman sensation at center in 2001, will be out for the rest of the spring with a MCL injury. The good news is that he will not need surgery and is expected back for the season.

Also, Ally Broussard, expected to be Louisiana's top RB in 2002, of Acadiana High has verbally committed to LSU, a HUGE signing for the Tigers. Broussard is 6'2" 210 and runs a 4.5. 40.

Sounds good. With as much running as I envision us doing next year we are going to need a healthy Wilkerson at center. So Saban if you are listening rest him, get him to 100% and then bring him back slowly during spring.

As long as Ben is ready for kickoff in Blacksburg we should be ok.
