  3. Cheerleading, as a sport, has more injuries than any other sport. I was happy my daughters never showed any interest. Drill team (dance team/kick line) is a bigger deal in Texas. Of course, lots of girls get injured dancing in pointe shoes in ballet, too.

  9. More than rodeo? Almost all of my steer wrestling friends in college had knee injuries. One team roper had a missing finger he lost dallying (sp?) after roping a steer. Not even talking about some bull riding guys I knew.
  10. I'm not sure rodeo would be included in such studies? I can definitely see where it's dangerous.
