According to LSUSports.NET there will be a press conference at 3:00 today to announce the complete coaching staff.:helmet: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige Welcome aboard all new coaches!
According to Dandydon... A 3:00 P.M. press conference has been called at LSU to introduce the last three spots on Les Miles' coaching staff. Bo Pelini will be be named defensive coordinator, Karl Dunbar will be named defensive line coach and assistant head coach, and Brad Peveto will be named linebacker coach. The entire staff looks like this: Head Coach: Les Miles Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach: Jimbo Fisher Offensive Line Coach: Stacy Searels Running Backs Coach: Larry Porter Wide Receivers Coach: Todd Monken TE Coach/Recruiting Coord,: Josh Henson Defensive Coordinator: Bo Pelini DL Coach/Assistant Head Coach: Karl Dunbar Linebackers Coach: Bradley Dale Peveto Secondary Coach: Doug Mallory Strength & Conditioning Coach: Tommy Moffitt I think that these coaches may be even better collectively than the last few years. Let the dynasty begin :thumb: :crystal:
you mean let the dynatsy continue!!! miles is really taking this coaching staff thing seriously...as he should. he's basically assembled a dream team...at least compared to what we thought we might be left with! i have a really good feeling about dunbar.
Thank you for correcting me Chaos, I dont know what I was thinking. 2 :crystal: in 3 years ain't too bad. I agree about Dunbar.
Brad Peveto is an interesting hire. He's got an ok resume', but the thing that stood out about him is that he's got 2 brothers that are high school coaches in Southeast Texas. I think Peveto will be SOLID recruiting in Texas and aTm's own backyard.
I have to say, as good as Muschamp, Jones and Smart were as a member of Saban's staff, I always said, "Damn! That's a LOT of former UGA players!" It's really, REALLY good to finally have a former TIGER back in Tiger Stadium!!! Plus, with the talent we have on the D-line, and Dunbar's success as a D-line coach, I think we're in for some really good things defensively.
I agree with smoovedog about the collection of coaches that Miles put together. After all of us (all fans) franticly worrying about who he was going to get to be the DC we can all take a BIG breath and relax. IMO this group of coaches will do a good job with all the talent that LSU has on both sides of the ball.:thumb: _______ NC Here We Come...GEAUX TIGERS :crystal:
