I know this is one of the biggest games in LSU basketball history, and most everybody is geared up with basketball on the brain, but I'm also curious to see if any of you were able to make it out to Tiger Stadium to watch the spring game.

(outside of April Fools day jokes) If you went to the game, would anyone care to give some highpoints/low points for the afternoon?? Anyone stand out? How did the QB's look? How did the RB's look???

    Thanks

I heard RJ Jackson didn't take part, which is unfortunate because I wanted to hear how he looked.

Reported in the TP that he was hurt in practice on Thur. or Friday, hope it isn't real serious.

    Spring game
Did not play; Landry, Daniels, Broussard, Vincent, Korte.
Receiver - Bowe made great catches, looked the best
Running back - Hester stood out the best, considering Alley and Justin did not play.
Returner - #21 (Jackson??, had two #21's on field) was great
QB's - neither looked great. Both had high and low moments. Flynn can still run. However so can Ryan. Ryan threw a great pass after a scramble and stopped just short of the line and fired a shot downfield on the numbers. Flynn would have run and not let the play proceed. On punt drills they let Ryan throw the ball downfield. No rush in his face, he heaved a very high punt like pass 75 yards - flat footed. We have all seen Flynn. Only those of us around HS District 6 AAAAA have seen Ryan and I was not disappointed in limited his time. I keep calling for a blind bootleg by Ryan but designed QB runs was not in the script. In summary, both QB's completed very accurate pases at times and threw behind or over receivers at other times. Seemed like there were more passing plays then running plays.
Punters - Fisher got off a bomb - 65 yds in the air.
Last - almost too hot to enjoy.
