I guess it's a "6 of one, half-dozen of the other".... It may be just me, but I thought that the over-all tackling in previous years to be subpar. I thought we were not a sound, fundamentally tackling defense. So when Miles started incorporating live tackling during practice, I took it as a sign that I might have been right in my assessment, and CLM was trying to correct the problem. But, obviously, with that style, there are increased risks...Hopefully he'll (CLM) will recognize this issue and "simmer down" some...
How tackling can be a problem for collegiate football players is beyond me. Seems pretty elementary, IMO.
