That's funny, Saturday I was trolling Big Fork Bayou with my headphones on and Nora Jones wooing me, and ate a can of Spam, a wedge of brie and a bagle for lunch
Coached by John McKay and quarterbacked by "the old ball coach" himself, the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneets went 0 - 14. The Bucs were shut out five times in 14 games and were outscored 412-125 on the season. The offense averaged an anemic 77 yards per game on the ground and 137 passing yards per game. You could say the "fun and gun" was the "no won and gun." Pour old Steve, don't you feel sorry for him ? Congratulations on the right answer. The next time you see Steve Spurrier be sure to yell: " How 'bout them '76 Bucs ? "
Vienna sausages yeah, in bbq sauce, no. Sounds good though. You taslkin' about a hot sauce or the sweet kind? Keep in mind I like stuff I can hold in one hand, so if there's any dipping it's a problem. Hey, do you slurp up that gel around the Vienna suasages? As for the liquid refreshment, it's usually whatever beer's on sale as long as it's not lite, and I tried caviar once.
Interesting (and typical) that the Saints' two retired numbers (Taylor and Atkins) are for players who only played one year with the team and made minimal contributions - while guys like Archie Manning and Rickey Jackson have not had theirs retired. You can see Jim Taylor's Saints helmet at www.helmethut.com.
