1. Exactly, last year our offense played with one hand tied behind our back according to Cam. And we got absolutely no pressure on QB's. I'll add getting turnovers from our defense but that's it, great post Dudley.

  2. The poster above you mentioned scoring TDs in the redzone. That was a huge failing of the '14 team, whereas the '13 team had a much better percentage of TDs to FGs. Not to mention that our place kicker went mental 2/3 of the way through the '14 season and was prone to missing fairly easy FGs.

On the defensive side, we must get to the QB much more often than we have in the last 2-3 years. We must not let teams run up the middle on us. And we need to create more turnovers.
  3. Coach O is on it. Look for a lot more sacks and QB hurries leading to turnovers
  4. The poster above... the Poster... lol. I gonna give you a like on that one, or maybe not.

  5. A lot like MooU got 10 last year.
  6. I think LSU could easily win 10+ games just as easily as losing 4-5 games.

In order to win 10 games LSU must first and foremost have much better play calling. Last year LSU was more predictable than ever under Miles. The personnel and formation telegraphed more times than not what play was coming next. LSU must change things up with personnel and formations. LSU also must go down the field more, taking chances will help keep the D more honest.

From a defensive stand point LSU must do a much better job at getting after the QB. LSU must use blitzes if they have to, but they must be more disruptive. Another issue is TO's. LSU did not force enough TO's the last few years.

Miles and staff must do a better job game planning. We can not come out flat like last season, often times putting us in a whole.

I truly feel this team could do big things. We have a difficult schedule, not doubt about. I just hope to see LSU play hard and regain that swagger. I also feel we must see game to game improvements.

  7. Consensus, could win alot or lose alot. Hope for the best, brace for the worst, expect more of the same.

  8. That's the ONLY way we get to 10 wins. Brandon Harris will have to do the "Jameis Transformation" thing (On the Field) and do all the things that Championship caliber QB's do or we'll not reach 10 wins.

OK, he technically had his redshirt year last season and it's now time to put up or shut up. No more excuses and we'll find out quickly in weeks 2 and 3 as to what he's got.

Mrs. Lady Luck will also play a big role, as we are so thin in the DL and LB. (Thanks to Chavis and Haley for sitting on their asses and not recruiting) OL too, but not quite as bad as DL/LB. Injuries are part of the game and will happen, but we have to have fate on our side, get lucky and avoid major DL/LB/OL injuries. No way to predict injuries though.

If we can get to 10 wins in the regular season and a big Bowl win, with the infusion of 4-5 Orgeron recruited DL's and Steele recruited LB's coming in 2016, (Along with Etling eligibility and Franks arrival) things should progress nicely. Lots of big "If's" involved..................................
  9. No more excuses? He's right where Anthony Jefferson was last year without the bowl game. Jameis Winston? Might wanna dial back the expectations there sparky.
  10. Anyone worried now about the secondary, which seemed to be a strength coming into the season and now has lost a few guys?
