That's BS. I put majority blame on the FED now and prior. Also the big govt. Republicans such as Bush and Co. But to say it was caused by conservatives "only" is just a farce.
i think it was caused by silly investing by individuals, as well as government policies that encourage home ownership over renting.
The everyone deserves to own a home and the policies of both parties to promote this are the root of the problem.
