After reading their forum, they believe that LSU players were faking injury in order to slow down their fast passed offense. I am not sure why they were booing when our offensive lineman went down.
Phuk'em... they lost and we won, by almost 30. Now they can go bully Bowling Green and feel good about their measlely existence once again.
because these teams that run these fast break offenses fans are conditioned to assume every injury is being faked. its no big deal. they are stupid and dont even know who has the ball and boo regardless. its like being mad at the USC cheerleader who cheered when the opposing team scored. its irrelevant in context.
It could just be that the stereotype kicked in. Let me explain. The problem with this (what I consider to be) gimmicky hurry-up offense is real injury versus the occasion of teams apparently faking injury to slow the game down. This has happened in the NFL and CFB. But when you run plays like this, players are going to go down, and we actually saw it on both sides of the ball, offense and defense. So where does the stereotype come in? Well, I think some of these hillbillies actually got confused and could not tell the difference between what might be real and what might not be, if a fake injury even happened. And because they couldn't understand or figure out what was going on, especially with the T-Bob thing, they just started booing every single player that was injured. Classless and stupid, but what do you really expect up there? To be fair, a fair amount of fans realized that T-Bob wasn't trying to slow down the WVU D, so they clapped when he walked off the field. Strange game in many ways, but a good win nonetheless.
I could swear I've seen his (coach's) face on a recent post office poster, but I guess I could have been mistaken....
No they are so dumb they don't realize you only boo when the opposing teams defense goes down. That's even worse. They think we are slowing down their defense too.
They are also saying we boo our own players all the time, to somehow justify their booing of injured players last night. I admit we have booed our own players but out and out booing a down player is just morally wrong in my opinion. I do not care if you think they are faking or not you should give them the benefit of the doubt and wait until they are off the feild. That said, I thought the actions of their coach concerning this last night were deplorable. On national television throwing a hissy fit, shouting "bull****, bull****" over and over. I lost all respect for that coach, POS.
