yep, no reason for a team that’s been dreadful at QB for a decade to go after a proven QB guru. no comment on the other part of my quote? i’ll ask again: if losing by 6 (i originally said 7) to an unranked conference foe with a true freshman backup QB is proof that Jimbo sucks and isn’t good enough to come here then what does losing by 30 to an unranked conference foe with a 5th year Sr returning starter QB prove? oh, that’s right, we only count the losses by those other guys not O (even though he has more of those than Curley Hallman). Herman loses by 6 (only his 2nd loss in 20 games as head coach) and he sucks. O losses by 30 (his 3rd loss in 12 games) and its everybody but O’s fault. Jimbo loses by 6 with backup (true freshman) QB due to injury, he’s fucking horrible. O loses by 30 with returning starter (5th year Sr) and it’s Les Miles’ fault.
Come on man, stop it... there's a difference between true freshman and redshirt freshman.. At least be factual...
I'm not saying he would be doing any better this season but he is a proven winner with 2 national championships hanging from his belt as a coordinator and as a head coach. He is also a known developer of quarterbacks. He was my first choice unless by some miracle Saban, Meyer or Belichick decided he wanted to coach at LSU.
