1. How do we know he's not encouraging in-state recruits to sign with LSU?
  2. Not sure but a lot more recently than our current HC who has never done it. So, a lot more often than never.

  3. We don't. Im not attacking Spears, I'm simply saying he has a platform as an ESPN analyst that I would like to see him use both ways. If he is I just haven't seen it.
  4. Maybe he's on the phone with a 5 star D lineman right now. We w6ouldn't know it.

that would be a major violation.

  6. Probably not unless he gave him money or a car or something
  7. nah, pretty sure it’s against NCAA rules for alumni to directly contact recruits.
  8. I never felt we were average or mediocre under miles. I felt he kept the offense mediocre and played as if we were an average team most of the time not to lose.

That's a big difference than saying we're an ole miss team or south Carolina who are often average sec teams.

The number of players we put in the pros is only matched by bama. Surely with similar recruiting and better coaching we could again compete for sec and ncs.

Unfortunately it feels like we are now actually mediocre. Now we do suck and our record will reflect that. If recruiting continues to suffer its going to be really hard to dig ourselves out of this hole. Let's not even discuss the added instability Aranda leaving would cause. Chaos could ensue. And I'm not certain we don't have that already.

  9. I hope he is!
  10. The uncertainty of the future of this program has me worried, that's for damn sure. Even if Coach O has what it takes to right the ship, it won't be happening this year. LSU can use all the support from those players in the NFL right now, especially to help recruits (that are) stay in love with LSU and not abandon ship.
