...can it get any worse? It looks like the answer is yes. Per LSUSports.net, Dardar indefinitely suspended from the team. http://www.lsusports.net//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=275822
Similar incidents happened with Skip at the helm as well. I know of a bar brawl in which a starting pitcher was involved that was either covered up or swept under the rug.
When did this happen? I ask because to me it seemed that in Skip's last few years the team kinda got away from him. I was pretty much attcked by a certain player (who will remain nameless) in tigerland one night in late 2000.
Damn, this is the kind of thing that is hard to deal with. I'd hate to penalize the rest of the team for one bone-headed action, but if you slip it under the rug, Chase doesn't learn a lesson. But then again, the DWI situation in LA is pretty out of hand. When I say that I mean that I have a friend who is a sheriff and has a breathalyzer and I've blown-over the legal limit after only two beers before. I am small, but still, I was totally coherent after those two beers. I'm not saying that chase was right for doing what he did, but I don't think you'd be surprised to hear how many people leaving a bar at any particular time would blow over the legal limit if told to do a breathalyzer test. But damn this sucks... we're already hurting for arms, losing our closer (and possible fourth starter) is just plain sick.
