For those wondering about 2005 student tickets...

F**king sucks! There goes the 4 sets I had lined up and a lot of money.

 

the whole north endzone thing works?

like can u really squeeze into the student section?

 

yeah its easy. You just go in the normal gate and just walk out into the stadium and walk over. The whole north endzone is open. Also you can walk the corrordors(sp?) if you know the stadium well or have any sense of dorection. The lower bowl of the stadium is divided into 4 sections north, south, east and west. If you really know the stadium then you can get anywheres you want through backrooms and such, But to do this you have to REALLY REALLY know the stadium which most people dont, so most people are confined to one of the 4 areas. If you get there early you will have no problem finding a seat in the student section. It isn't like they check your ticket when you go into the student section.

Also is it just me or do all the other students feel like its going to take forever to get into the stadium with the new system in place? I feel like its goign to suck.

 

well.. between policies like this and the "donations", they really dont want the regular joes going to a game, do they?

 

hell no they screwed a lot of people, because many people order tickets and don't use them. Do you really think that they are going to take the time to post them on ticket exchange? hell no!

It doesn't really matter to me because I'm goign to find a way to goto the games no matter what. Always have always will, but its goign to be a pain in the ass now.

 

That system is terrible... at least with the student name part...

I can give the perfect example right now..

Every year I will try to buy tickets because I have no guarantee that I will make Tiger Band... If I do make it... I have to pain myself the trouble of selling it through that ticket exchange thing... which sounds stupid and time-consuming.

This will certainly cause fewer students to be able to go to games now... Because before it was... "Hey I'm not going to the game... want my ticket?"... Now it's "Hey I'm not going to the game... If you want it, you gotta be online right when I post it..."...

Games will have lower attendances because instead of worrying about the 7 bucks that will just get transferred to your card at the end of the season.... Many students will just say f*** it....

They never did address the issue for Tiger Band, cheerleaders, etc. with their point system...

Also, what about guest tickets.... If I make Tiger Band, generally my first choice to give to is one of my closest friends who attends Loyola... (Nearly all my friends are TB members, so I can't really give to them).. He knows more about LSU's history than 90% of students... I guess he's ****ed now...

 

Yeah, he is probably ****ed so just plan on going ahead and giving it to me in case I don't get any.
