I haven't really heard many (if any) people say that. Any mind-altering substance is habit-forming, including many pharmaceuticals and especially caffeine. Some people, however, cannot control their urges, despite what they may be risking.

I have sort of a related question here, prompted by JJ being part of this story. Given this bonehead move today (and I'll state that it really should have no effect on the team), and the bar fight last year, then being reinstated and becoming the starter again, is there any credence to the idea that CLM permitted (may not be the proper word to use here) all of this b/c he wanted to sign JJ's brother?
