I know the feeling. I'm also a die-hard Cubbie (is there any other type of Cub fan?) and I hate the fact that Prior is an SC guy, but when I read the news today I almost cried. The Cubs can not afford to lose him. I hate myself for choosing to being a Cubs fan. :cry: :cry:
just a bruised elbow.. he'll be ok... give him a week to recover fully. x-ray was negative... give him some RICE REST ICE COMPRESSION ELEVATION and MOTRIN hahah, seriously, he should be fine.
MRI revealed a slight fracture of his elbow. this means he has to be out at least a month if not more I would bet.
Yeah, like Tirk said, I just heard on Baseball Tonight that they got info that it's fractured. If that report is true, I'm going to find the highest cliff in Louisiana (I think that may be monkey hill at the zoo. :dis: ) and jump off of it. It is just unfair. :bncry:
Everyone go to espn.com and watch the video of Hawpe smashing the ball into Prior's elbow....after they show that clip they do a flashback of Hawpe's 3 run HR off of Prior in the CWS....I missed the gold jerseys!
Couldn't have happened to a better franchise. Anybody that doesn't think they're cursed is living in fantasyland.
