Four 16 team conferences

    Yes, but they would have to get their own fight song, a new mascot, and re-name their stadium...........:yelwink2:

    The ACC has pretty much locked in their current teams, along with Syracuse and Pitt, so grabbing one of their powerhouse teams is probably a little out of reach.

    WVU would be a nice addition, and would keep the East and West balanced with the addition of ATM in the West.

    As for bumping up to 16 teams, I think Mizzou in the West would be sweet and balance that out with Louisville in the East and you have yourself a pretty nice super conference.

    So who are the current BCS schools in the lurch? By that I mean don't end up in a super conference. I think Baylor, Cincy, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Rutgers end up homeless. Maybe they could pair up with SMU, Central Florida and BYU and be irrelevant with each other.

    I doubt Rutgers ends up homeless, they have a decent fanbase in the NY area which is an important market.

    From my understanding 4 super conferences of 20 teams would leave 2 schools out in the cold. My guess would be those two being Baylor and SMU.
