Disney World = Happiest damn place on earth. :thumb: I'm impressed that Fowler (ESPN) made this statement. They must have been overwhelmed with emails.
USC better enjoy it all they can because with all the talks of Reggie Bush accepting gifts, well, if this is true their dynasty from the past and future will be lost. I'd love to see Pete Carroll lose it like he did in the pros. USC may yet have a chance to lose their co-title and then title. OU will be crowned, well, so much for their dynasty. Screw ESPN, Fowler, they never have liked LSU anyway. We aren't part of the media darlings. Geaux Nebraska, I really think they have a chance in this game. I'm not so sure USC can win their conference anyway. USC=Dynasty lost!
I would say that is exactly correct. They have no intention of doing any more sec games but they still need the viewership.
Logistically, I think it's doable - Gameday is from what... 9am-11am? The ABC primetime game starts how many hours later - 7 or 8 hours? Pretty much any location in the country should be reachable with time to spare, right?
With Fowler being this outspoken, I wouldn't be shocked to see him get canned. Regardless, don't expect to see them back in the deep South for Gameday, and I think they should rightly lose our viewership.
Sounds like a PR statement. The probably wouyld have snubbed the SEC for a gameday but I bet this bit of an uproar we have going on may have changed their minds.
Who cares? SEC fans aren't missing out on anything...we get to watch the real football while the Disney people get to pretend like the PAC10 does something exciting.
This weekend in SEC football, possibly better than the first week of bowl games? I pose that question because honesty, the first week or so of bowl games are just the crap 6-5 teams facing off against each other, while this week's two big games are definately much more fun and entertaining.
