1. Why are people even still talking about this? The SI article on him shows it's debatable whether or not he flunked it on purpose.
  2. To clarify my opinion, it was formed by halftime. I think there was a huge ND slant the first half. As we continued to blow them out, then they got on the JR bandwagon.

I respect your opinions to like TB. I just don't like him. Sorry about the ACT comment, it was a low blow. My 2 best friends had lower ACT scores than mine, and they make much more than me!
  3. I was just responding to it, but the fact you day it's debatable and he mentionned it last night with no reason might have a lot to do with that. As for how an SI article would end talk on it?? SI publishes to create discussion.
  4. He did admit to purposely flunking it in his book. Didnd't want to put up with the pressure of playing at LSU and something about his GF going to Latech as well. I guess it worked out for him. Football smarts has very little to do with how you do on the ACT anyways.
  5. Most of FOX’s commentators had a Notre Dame bias. Tim Brown went to Notre Dame and won the Heisman there in 1987. Jimmy Johnson said he liked beating ND when he was at Miami but he was really a ND fan.

Hey, the reason Notre Dame was selected to play was because of their national following and ability to sell tickets and television rating. LSU will always be slighted when playing a “national team” or big media market team. So what, LSU is dear to us.

That sideline reporter was awful. She couldn’t ask an intelligent question to either Weis or Miles. She likes to hear herself talk and wasn’t that hot either. I much prefer Susie Culver or Erin Andrews with ESPN.

Terry was great. I actually admire his honesty about why he didn't play for LSU. He wanted to go to LSU and signed a LOI to play, just couldn't pass the ACT. He went to LA Tech as his only option to play. I think he did a good color commentator job. Howie was fairly objective and the other guy was so-so. Listening to Terry and Howie was like two guys hanging out in your den commenting on the game. That camera shot of the ND Cheerleader irritated me too.

I can’t imagine it would be much different with another network. The ND bias would still be there. Screw them all… it makes it so much sweeter for an LSU fan.
  6. Are you joking with this post?

I thought EVERYONE in the known World knew that radio is always ahead of cable and Light years ahead of Sat.
  7. FOX ROCKS! I loved that Fox showed the Golden Band From Tigerland playing "Pregame". I was ready to knock down a wall for Les after seeing that. The Katrina stories were appreciated as well.

TB is good at analyzing QB play. He's not as strong in other areas, but he's better than most. His schtick can get a little old now and then. But, I'd rather listen to him than to John Madden swallowing phrases and telling me "that's what that's all about! JaMarcus Russell reminds me of Brett Favre!"
  8. The camera often found the Golden Girls, too!:yelwink2: So I had no problem with their broadcast. MUCH better than the Orange Bowl, where they went 2 full quarters without realizing their camera had rain all over it.:dis:
