Fox Sports Southwest; Southern Sports Award's Show

I know exactly what award it is. Spurrier inherited a bunch of scrubs, taking them to their 1st bowl since 2000. He beat a team we couldn't, and played UGA MUCH better than Miles did. I don't see any reason he shouldn't get it.
If not him, my vote would go to Tuberville. Amazing talent lost to the NFL, and you can't get any closer to the big game without being in it than he was.

Carville is ripping UGA the mutt. He says there is nothinig like Mike. He accused Fox of playing to the home crowd because they are in Georgia. He called him an ugly little dog. :hihi:

Not to split hairs here (and Spurrier is my favorite guy in the NCAA...maybe all of sports.) BUT, USC was 6-5 and bowl eligible LAST YEAR!!

 

Carville is great. He says that Uga was useless. He might say some stupid stuff, but he loves LSU and he always reps LSU as much as possible when he is on TV. Geaux Carville!

 

That bunch of scrubs qualified for a bowl game last year. If they had any discipline at all, they could have played in it. Spurrier won one more game than the Spitting Wonder. Wow! All praise his holiness the Visor Boy.

Is he a good coach? Yes. One of the best IMO. I just don't think he deserved any coach of the year awards. They're just kissing his rear because of who he is and his past.

 

What bowl did they appear in?

 

o.k. you're right by a technicality. the university chose not to go to a bowl last year.

 

The Coulda-Shoulda-Woulda Bowl. They don't put that one on tv.
