I have no idea if you have watched the Chargers this season. But they possibly have the worst set of wideouts in the entire NFL. They need receiver so badly as their first pick, it aint even funny. Their defense is outstanding. They won't forego a good WR for a defensive player.
That is no exxageration either. If Eric Parker holds onto any one of his FOUR drops v. the Pats, they win that game. Phillip Rivers will be unbelievable once he has an NFL worthy target other than Gates and LDT. This is a good draft for WRs, and a good one should be available for the Chargers.
Imagine how effective Gates can be if they have wideouts that the safeties have to respect. Parker needs to hang it up. He single handedly lost that game for them.
Concerning the comment that JR needs to learn to get rid of the ball quicker due to deficiencies on the OL, very true. just like the Saints need to address CB's thru free agency, da Raida's need to address OL immediately, if not sooner, thru FA as well. Then if they could somehow steal a RB, they would be the most improved team next season. Their 'D' is stout, but their 'O' needs a major overhaul. Good luck, JR.
