Reed and Henderson did not play wide receiver as freshmen. Reed was a third team running back as a redshirt freshman. It was midseason before he got a chance at WR. Henderson was tried at running back a couple of years before he was moved to WR. He fumblled and was injured at running back so they tried him at WR and he was a hit.

No, but here is a photo of his reaction after the one-handed catch.

Newsflash: Early Doucet has absolutely too much talent to keep off the field. This guy will be special. He will make an impact this year. If Xavier has a similiar impact then this offense will not skip a beat from where they left off last year.

Dwayne Bowe looks ready to have a breakout year. The TD catch at the back of the endzone was Mike Williamsesque. He is bigger, has added muscle mass to an already big frame for a wideout. Skyler Green should make strides in being a better receiver this year as well. Of course he is such a multi-dimensional threat with his running of the ball and special teams. Amp Hill we will just have to wait and see. Again if he can get back to where he was just before he was injured, then this WR corp is going to perform at the same level as last year. There will be no dropoff.

It's exciting times for LSU football fans. The best defense in the nation. Potentially a very exciting and efficient offense much like last year with the best QB in the nation waiting in the wings to strut his stuff. And yes I am talking about Mr. JaMarcuss Russell.
