Soooooo..... Someone ought to do the research and write a good post grading all the 2010 and 2009 signees....the hits, the misses...according to the stars they were rated. As for this class, I've been in the wait and see mode for several months now.
I go back an look at past LSU classes, I also look at other schools. Too many hit and misses. I posted this question....... Name the former 3* high school player that was the 85th. best DE in the nation, he lead LSU DT's and DE's in tackles this year?
Not at all, they will be juniors next season (16-17 year olds). Who's videos are we mainly looking at when judging talent for ourselves, Junior year film. Coaches start evaluating prospects even as freshman. We knew about Fournette way before last year and everyone knows he will be a national prospect. We will have some of these guys in this weekend and could even have commitments from some before 2013 NSD or right after. With recruiting cycles getting earlier and earlier. The LSU coaches have a very good idea of who they will be targeting within the state for 2014 right now.
I believe so and Kiffen has gotten verbals from kids young than that. I don't really agree with accepting verbals that early but it happens.
Thats one thing B, a coach gives his word to hold open a spot till signing day for a kid. But on signing day, that kid can bolt to another school.
