    Is this just to satisfy the curiosity surrounding Russell and his progress or is Saban saying that JR is the QB?

    I think Saban knows that Russell is the man for the job.

    So the transcription is wrong? I didn't hear it, only copied the text from a website. Why then the disconnect in the rest of the sentence ("he made progress")?

    Just asking cuz I don't know is all.

    i def. think Russell is the man for the job. I was very impressed watching the spring game. I think some of his recievers let him down but he looked very promising!

    it is a fact that russell is the future starting quarterback, and if he were to somehow get injured WE WOULD NOT MISS A BEAT with flynn as the backup.

    however, there is one thing thou canst ignoreth.

    game management.

    that is the only reason why randall is even in the mix at the moment.
