Three adjectives that immediatley come to mind after today's game. I've read through the majority of the posts following the game, so I won't rehash what appears to be the most obvious (terrible officiating being one)... That said, I believe the Tigers bounce back in a big way next week, and still think we have a good shot at running the table from here on out. Do we remain in the top 10 this week? :geauxtige
No we do not remain in the top 10. And with road games with Florida and Tennessee, I cannot be as optimistic as you seem to be about going undefeated for the remainder of the season. I think there is an extremely good chance we will lose at least one of those games.
Those are tough road games, agreed. I'm hoping that if our defense continues to play as well as it did today, and assuming that some of the offensive issues are addressed (the poor running game was offensive -- pun intended), we have a good chance at winning out. It may be a lot to ask for, I know. :geauxtige
I look forward to them killing Tulane next week...that will take away the pain from this week's loss.
No way in hell We go to FLA and Tenn and win either of them unless Jimbo grows some balls. Otherwise it's 9-3, Cotton bowl here we come.
I don't see why we shouldn't be in the top ten. ND shouldn't be in the top ten, they were smoked. Florida State lost also.
