Personally, I have no problem with the use of Indians or a tribe name such as Seminole. Redskins (which happens to be the nickname os my son's high school) and Savages are a little different, since they do have some negative connotations. It is not offensive to me, but might be to some.

My point originally was that scrappy post offended me as someone intelligent. Cowboys and Indians are not equivalent in my point of view, because even if the use of Indians doesn't offend me, I could see how it might possibly offend some minorities. I cannot see the name Cowboys offending anyone that is reasonable.

 

just change it to the semenoles and pray PETA doesn't declare sperm endangered.
