Warden Bowden's charges never fail to entertain during the offseason. He'll probably be suspended for the first series of downs (after they're up by 6 TDs).
It's also being reported - in an unrelated incident - that starting QB Wyatt Sexton has not been participating in summer workouts and has been suspended "indefinitely" (no link) due to "the need to deal with a personal problem." Given that FSU's other QB (Weatherford) is still recovering from ankle surgury, this puts Bobby (and OC Jeff Bowden) between a rock and a hard place. FSU has already lost Hardrick, Bunkley, Bright, Dickson, Mincey, and Foster due to Qualification failures....and Bradwell was kicked off the team for theft. Additionally, two other signees, Hayes and Rouse, are borderline academic DQ's. Rumors are also swirling around the highly-touted Xavier Lee - that he is borderline for grades and is a likely academic casualty unless drastic intervention is taken. I haven't seen this much controversey surrounding FSU's program since the days of "Free Shoes U" and the Peter Warrick incidents. Remember, it was the Warrick affair that really branded Bobby as soft on discipline. Saint Bobby lost a ton of national respect over that incident.
Their QB didn't report because he was in Tennessee for some music festival. Chris Rix type leadership all over again
The block of 600 W. Virginia St is the the road behind all the bars on the Tennessee strip. Alchohol is probably involved on that one. As for Wyatt Sexton, he sure isn't at the gym. A stiff wind could knock that kid over.
