helicopter parents caused this. used to be the bully at the playground called you a pussy, you either beat him up, or learned to live witth the fact that people are bigger than you and talk shit like assholes. so you get over it. you said to yourself, that guy is a fuckface, and then got over it and went back to the jungle gym. these days everything must be an appeal to authority. it must be adjudicated by a higher power. because kids are bad at managing their own disputes. every word hurts them. they never learned to get over anything, they just texted their mom to come and shut the bully up. so they live in a world where mean words must and will be stopped. every tiny offense must be litigated and punished. nobody can stand anything and they equate words with physical violence. i learned this a few years ago when i returned to LSU as an adult. they were pussies. i took a class on polling and politlcal opinions and it was like a nazi gulag in there if you wanted to talk about anythig intersting. they complained to the teacher about me for pointing out that jews dont want to convert you, which is a simple fact. they dont give a shit, it was an anodyne truth. and thats just one example. any mention of any ethnic anything was "toxic" and "problematic" kids dont play the "sticks and stones .....but words dont hurt" game anymore. everything hurts those lil dumbshits
