Man, I've got to disagree with you on that one. I love their stadium. With it juxtaposed against Lake Washington and the big coverings on the side, I really like that stadium. Sure, some of that is skewed by my love of Seattle in general, but not entirely. I've been to Seattle a few times, and always try to stay around U-Dub (note: use of "dub" far precedes the faux-hip hop crowds' use of "dub" to mean W.) The campus and people are great. I pretty much have nothing but great things to say about that place and the people.
Agreed. I stayed in the financial district and had a beautiful view of Lake Union. Honestly, the idea of boating in, tying up, and then going to the game sounds pretty good to me. Not much traffic after the game either. The only problem with Seattle is the rain-just too much of it for me.
Too rainy? Aww. I've always liked Seattle (and the Pacific Northwest in general) for the much talked about excessive amount of rain they get as well as the beautiful landscape. Rain is one of my true loves in the world. Then I read this: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18827213 So regardless of the likelihood of rain, hopefully USC and LSU both make it here for the BCS Championship, and it won't matter if it's raining or not.. a good time should be had by all. Gee. Who'd of thunk it Brian. We get a fair share of rain down here but I was always led to believe the Northwest was wetter.
Right. It seems like everyday is misty, overcast, with an endless drizzle. Sunny, blue-bird days usually warrent a public holiday.
Yep. Different kind of rain, more like a light drizzle than hellacious, pouring-down-rain thunderstorms. They don't normally get the kind of rain storms that pour inches at a time the way the deep south does. I have friends in Seattle, and they have to deal with a misty cloud cover all the time. It's a big deal for them when they can see Mt. Rainier.
True, true. Summer is a short season. A former neighbor of mine moved to Seattle 2 years ago and actually calls to tell me when the sun is out in Seattle........it happens so rarely. Too depressing for me.
