If the roles were reversed you would already be seeing UA fans wearing National Champions garb.

The Tigers are not only playing for it all, they're playing to become the best team in collegiate history. Double digit wins against all those ranked teams ( all but Alabama). This is a team of destiny. PERIOD!

No one can question our record against one of the toughest schedules ever played. That's why some think we have already won the NC.

to hell with the AP title who cares about that one anyway

Here are the simple facts, as much as they could suck they are still the facts. The difference between 03 and today are in 03 SC never got a chance to play for the BCS championship and that is why when they won the Rose Bowl the AP was able to crown them as their National Champs because they were ranked above LSU in the AP poll. Does that make it right, absolutely f*cking not, but the AP has the right to do that it is their poll and their championship. But the key is that SC did not get the chance to play for the BCS championship that year. The good part about it, is no one really cares about the AP national title unless it goes with the BCS title. I don't hear anyone talking about SC being a National Championship in 03 except for SC fans so who gives a damn.

This year though is different because the Gumps are in the title game and it is real simple who wins that game wins the BCS title. Does Bama deserve to be there, well everyone has their own opinion mine personally is absolutely NOT. Should have been OSU in my opinion because losing on the road is not as bad as losing at home, remember during the week how ESPN was saying no one beats Bama at Bryant Deny and the Fail Room and Bama was 22-1 at Bryant Deny and all of that BS. OSU lost on the road to an Iowa State team that is bowl bound although they are only 6-6, but it is not like they are 2-10. Anyway my opinion it should have been OSU but it is not, the cards we are dealt is it is Bama, so let's go beat the crap out of the Gumps this time and then who gives a damn about the AP title because even if we get it, no one will really care if it does not come with the Crystal Football also except for LSU fans. So my feeling I don't want the AP title unless we can win the BCS title that is the only one that matters.

The only National Championship trophy that matters is the BCS trophy. But if LSU has to settle for the AP trophy, why not claim it? USC did and still does. Bama would (and does). The Barners wore rings and didn't win the BCS or the AP. It won't be the national championship but it will be a national championship.

If Bama wins on Jan 9th but AP awards #1 to LSU, it won't be a split NC. Bama would be the BCS National Champion - the championship game everyone agreed to under the current format. But LSU would still be the AP National Champion. I won't brag about a split NC or claim LSU is co-NC, but if we are #1 in the AP it is what it is.

Without a doubt, we have already heard that the best team didn't win, that they are far superior than us. That is all the ammo we need, I hope their is a beating of epic proportions, I hope the Tigers really send these hillbillies a message, the Bear is dead, he died a long time ago and took most of Alabama's football program with him. Nick Saban is no Bear Bryant, he will soon leave and they will again be a thing of the past.
