Well boys and girls, we just saw a MIRACLE! They said so on the radio before the game started. Guys interviewed some "expert", maybe Jim McDonald?, called him "Ott" maybe, but they asked him how GM beats UCONN. He said, "they don't, period, end of discussion". UCONN too tall, too physical, too good an outside game, and too deep on the bench. GM looses this game, write it down, no way to beat UCONN. I love this win. Now we know why they call it March Maddness.
What an incredible year of upsets it has been this year! I don't know if I've ever seen a year with this many upsets in the tourney!
Meant that as a joke. Just sooo many upsets and bracket busters I'm sure that with the UConn/Nova loss, a lot of brackets today might as well be burned or trashed. I still have UCLA in the mix, but no big deal. I don't have them advancing. :thumb: I guess anyone that does not pick the Tigers every time is a hater or a basher.
I guess not. There are coaches out there I know who know a lot about the game...Xs & Os, but can't pick a bracket. I guess they really don't know the game either. Sooo many games came down to a last possession or two or shooting FTs at the end that determined the outcome. Hard to predict when it comes down to that.
Steve was out and about today seeing if any of the hardware stores would give him a free riding lawnmower. He'll be a bachelor this week as Tanya is off with the kids to their beach place in Sarasota. Steve will probably use the time to give his secretary her yearly bonus. Other than that, things have been quiet at the Alford's, especially the phone.
