I saw this posted on another school's board and it reminded me of an article I read about someone who has been to every LSU game -- home and away -- since the late '50s. What is your current attendance streak, either at home or both? Since I've been living up in the Chicago area for the past two years, my home game streak has been slashed. I now have a streak of 1 (the Ole Miss game last year, which was the last home game). That will end with the ULM game, which I will not be able to attend.
I've been to every LSU game (home and away) since Miss State in 2001. Currently my streak stands at 21 games. Since the band is not going to the Arizona game this year, my streak will only reach 22 games.
I only make about 1 road game every other year. But at home, I've only missed 3 games since 1973 due to illness or family crisis. My current home game streak is from 1989. I missed the last game in 1988.
My home streak is now back to 0. I missed the Ole Priss game last year cause of sickness. I have only been to 1 away game (Arkansas in 2000) and 2 bowls (Indy vs Irish & last year's Cotton vs Texas). I'm ready to start a new home streak come Aug 30th vs ULM Baby!!
I've been to all the home games since '98, and went to Ole Miss and the Peach Bowl in 2000; Alabama, SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl in 2001; and Va. Tech, Kentucky, and the Cotton Bowl last year. This year I'm going to South Carolina and Ole Miss, as well as our bowl game (Sugar?)
Damn, i went to every LSU home game from the end of the 1984 season all the way through 1999....then I went to Georgia.
I've been to every home game since the Ole Miss game in 99. That was my freshman year and I was still learning how to pace myself in my tailgate activities. I looked like this puking out a 2nd story window. :cry: Not good times.
