Offense: Kenny Hilliard - he was like Mariano Rivera tonight. Just came in and closed the game with some hard nosed running and intestinal fortitude. He threw that fucker down on that one run like a damn boss. Ethan Pocic - everytime he pulled, LSU tailbacks got yards in chunks. Future is bright for this young man. Neighbors and Jones - were blowing up fuckers all night. Neighbors on one play (4th and 1 on "the drive") drove some poor dude 20 yards down the field. Dural, Collins, Hawkins, Washington, Porter all blocked great tonight in support of the running game. Fournette and Magee - just ruthless running the ball and catching it. The 2 fumbles allowed Ole Miss an opportunity to win, but good job by both of these guys shaking it off. Hope Magee isn't seriously injured. He is a real leader out there. Logan Stokes - you think he will remember his only catch in 4 years? Cam Cameron and Frank Wilson - how about Wilson subbing his tailbacks and Cam's play calling? Superb. Defense: Daniele Hunter - 94 gets better every game, batted passes, sacks, tfl's, and qb hurries, his best game as a Tiger. 9 tackles tonight Rasco and Quentin Thomas -both had great games knocking balls down and in run support. Rasco had 9 tackles also. Kendall Beckwith and Kwon Alexander- wow, did these guys play out of their minds tonight or what? This defense is completely different with Beckwith, give Iststl and 123, Shane and company credit. They have been calling for KB52 for a while now, and he made so many plays tonight. Beckwith lead the team with 10 tackles, Kwon had 8. They reminded me of 11 and 7 Bradie and Trev. Tre White, Martin, Jefferson - all had big plays at big times Jamal Adams - easily the best freshman on defense, the kid was huge recognizing the quick snap on 4th. Chavis - all hail the chief, superb job having these guys jacked up. All in all on offense my game ball goes to Kenny Hilliard, on defense it's Kendall Beckwith, Special Teams is Deion Jones.
agree with it all. Don't know how his entire night went on defense, but White had a tremendous pass breakup on a deep ball that probably would've gone for a TD and a 2 score lead on a post pattern. Fantastic play...
Why aren't the pass catching TE's seeing the field more? Saw Desean Smith on the sideline, while Dillon Gordon was out there a lot, is it because of the run blocking aspect? Honestly I'm floored with the way Dural, Neighbors, Jones, and Pocic blocked tonight.
