The board actually seems to have taken a turn toward blind loyalty and xenophobia.

No apology needed, amigo. The banter here is lively, that's all. Nobody has really bashed you badly and none of your comments were inflammatory. But the locals will defend their team and you are welcome to defend yours. We get the same treatment on the Cock boards, one must have a tough skin on opponents boards during game week.

You are very welcome here and your posts are appreciated. Don't be too sensitive, breaux.

Neaux. After we beat Bama the Bama posters who come the week before (Not talking about our "Regular visitors, the chit stirring ones we'll undoubtedly see) will scatter like roaches when a light is turned on in the middle of the night.

Never know though, I heard they had this real good coach, I can't remember his name right off.

Geezz - I wasn't complaining. I was reporting. And giggling.

I thought it was funny and, actually, it reminded me of US not very long ago.

    That's all.

Relax, guys. Another day, another time, they used to call this whistling through the cemetery. Come Saturday, they'll be 'puckering' at both ends!

Sorry, bud - I have no idea why you think that it's better to be in a position with nothing to lose (recklessness) than in a position with everything to lose (focused determination). I'd rather be confident than desperate. Besides, every team is gunning for every other team in the SEC - especially if they're in the hunt for the SEC title. So I'd say your points are, once again, emotional only (not that that's a BAD thing) and devoid of logic and reason (is that too harsh? Standby.).

AND, they are also falacious in the sense that USC, like LSU, has everything to lose. They are undefeated and, therefore, in the hunt. Remember, 2003 was not billed as a national championship season for LSU, but it happened. So, any SEC team that is undefeated right now is, for all intents, still in the hunt with everything to lose (and GAIN - I prefer to be an optimist).
