Sherlock's should be packed. I remember I was at Ben's last year for the Bama game. After LSU won, a big group of us went down to the Loon and proceed to tigerbait the Texas fans who had just lost to K State.
Is it true that Ben's Half-yard House closed down? My husband and I were outside talking to our neighbor's boyfriend (he's an LSU grad) a couple of weeks ago, and he was talking about Ben's being closed. If so, that's a shame because it was a fun place (prior to having kids) to watch LSU games in Dallas.
Yup...closed down. The new alumni spot is Sherlock's on Park Ln across Central from North Park Mall. I think there is also a viewing at Fox and The Hound up in the Plano area but I've never been. I have a strict no going north of LBJ policy :wink:
Agreed. These days I am parked at the house too. But the HiDef view is perfect. The Heineken is cheap and very cold. And my 2 year old son's Tiger roar after every TD is priceless.
I was disappointed to hear that it closed down as well. I think I will be going to Sherlock's for the game against Fla. Hopefully everybody doesnt leave to go to Baton Rouge for that weekend.
