Gameday parking/tailgating/bar recommendations

I've gotta also vote for The Chimes. I love their shrimp po-boys and cheese fries. Nothing goes better with cold beer.

The only thing that bothers me these days is the smoke in the place. Up here in Plano/Dallas, smoking isn't allowed in restaurants.

 

It's not allowed here anymore either. Not even in Tiger Stadium.

 

I didn't realize that. I hate smelling like smoke all night after going there. I have long hair, and it really digs in!

 

No smoking at all anymore???

I usually go a couple hours before the game and park in the lots near the golf course/dairy farm/football practice facility. Got a spot there at 6:45 for the Va Tech game.

me too. getting the smell of smoke on me is something i would rather not have happen.

 

I don't know with all the talk about the Chimes food I think I would sit next to a blazing fire right now if I could just go to lunch there NOW!!!

Yes. No smoking anywhere in TS.

But like Bhelm says, there are always law breakers. They stayed on the lower ramps in the north endzone and held their sticks over the rail as if they were being sneaky. It amazes me that smokers forget that smoking a cigarette actually produces an odor.
