Garrett Temple in theNBA

    Garrett Temple jus recently got Called up by the Houston Rockets... He has handled himself very well. Hope he has success in the league, we sure miss his leadership on the floor this year... Good luck G Temple

    His best bet is to become a lock down defender, like Bowen. He has the physical tools for it.

    Since when do you need a jump shot to play in the NBA... just sayin.

    if you arent a post player i would say its almost essential. bowen, for example, can consistently hit an open 3. GT couldnt when it was 2 feet shorter.

    When Bowen first came into the league, he had no jumper whatsoever. He developed a passable shot but only from the corner.

    I think that Temp has a chance to stick though. If you have one elite skill you can survive in the NBA. Be it shooting, ball handling, shot blocking, defense, etc.

    He'll need to improve his jumper obviously but his length and defensive tenacity are great fits for the Rockets.
