Once again the question should be asked. How much of this is Crowton's fault and how much of this is because we have NO QUARTERBACK?
Well lets see.... Lee was recruited by Larry Porter.....as was Jordan Jefferson. Chris Garrett was recruited by Stud. Barrett Bailey was recruited by Crowton.
Someone has to be accountable for the situation we're in. Why did we recruit the QB's we have? Lee for sure was KNOWN to be a project QB. He started playing football as a junior in high school. Someone has to be able to coach up these guys.
JJ didn't call those non-innovative plays in the red zone. JJ didn't call plays that ate valuable clock in the back end of the 4th quarter.
agree to disagree If the offense wasn't ranked at the bottom the last two years I'd be much more willing to concede to that point.
Once again, piss poor quarterback play both years. I don't think Crowton is a genius or anything, and I am not trying to absolve him of blame, because he deserves it, but our quarterbacks suck, and if they execute the plays we play for a national title this year. I think Crowton is done here, at least hopefully he is, but I can't place all the blame on him.
I am of the opinion that he is the reason for those two sucking. He has a track record of it wherever he goes. He doesn't put his players in positions to be successful the majority of the time.
