Yes, it's too much!!! Ware is in the same class as Richardson. Although I think Richardson is slightly better, he's is not in a class by himself. Danielson got some flak for making that statement in an earlier game and he said later he didn't care what people thought and I think that statement was just a follow up. It's a doofus stunt to keep saying that while calling an LSU game.
Wasn't Danielson with ABC (working with Musberger) when we won the NC in '03? I'm thinking it was Danielson who gave us the awesome line during a replay,"OK, Oklahoma fans, you tell Jason White where to throw the ball." Then used the telestrator to show that all four receivers were blanketed.
i dont mind cbs just the fact they have boobs for the booth. And dont get me started on musbooger. I really liked the ron franklin and i forget the other guys name but they were great announcers and well suited to complement each other. And i am talking whether they were calling any game i enjoyed them. They were complimentary of both teams. well spoken. and knew their stuff. But verne and duncelson are really really bad. But as long as we keep winning i dont care when we play or who the announcers are they cant change the score. And those referees in todays game werre horrible.
Ron Franklin is great, even if he is an Ole Piss grad. Had he not insulted that cow Holly Rowe, he'd still be doing prime time games, but she got him demoted. As mentioned, I also like Sean McDonough. But the best play-by-play/analyst combo out there today is Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge.
I'm tired of these guys as well. Thank God Payton Manning got in the booth for just a minute, even if it was to talk about Newman football. There's a big difference between a stiff arm to the face area versus someone tackling by the facemask, assuming that Danielson was right on, which he clearly wasn't. The two are just not the same at all and in the least.
