Let me make sure I understand you as I don't want to offend a veteran.
High gas prices have absolutely NOTHING to do with Obama but higher prices under Bush were due to his decision making. Is that correct?
So...is Obama ever held accountable for anything that goes wrong? Is there anything you won't defend in his honor? Did Bush do anything right?
You claim you're not a liberal but Obama can do no wrong.
Yes...I do dislike Obama but also believe some of the blame honestly belongs to him. I don't need to fabricate anything...unlike NBC and CNN.
I believe Obama's anti-oil stance hurts us. I believe the moratorium and extended permit process has hurt us. I believe his resistance to expand domestic oil production has hurt us.
Obama began his moratorium in May of 2010. Should we blame the current situation in the middle east for that? The proces increased well before the past two weeks. When the moratorium was deemed illegal they just stopped issuing permits. He's like a little baby who just has to have his way. Meantime he increased the amount of spending we waste on wind energy and Chevy Volts. :dis:
Do I believe Obama wants higher gas prices so he can shove his green energy ideology down our throats?...absolutely. I hope it backfires and stalls the economy enough to boot him from office. I hope they miscalculate like they did before losing the House. BTW...1,000+ days and we still don't have a budget. Great job Mr. O!!! :thumb:
If prices continue to rise Obama will have a decision to make. Will he finally say he's opposed to high gas prices and be a hypocrite or say/do nothing while continuing to blame others?
His only action has been political. He said he would order the government to monitor oil markets for fraud and manipulation. If he's worried about fraud and manipulation he should be monitoring his own administration or national media.
He also proposed ending subsidies while wanting to give away billions to failed green energy corporations. (You know the "good" 1%ers not the "evil" 1%er corporations.)
