because in hostile territory such as the scumpond, ive learned turnovers, bad field position, au-like refs tend to favor the home team and worth about 10-17 pts. no matter how good a defense, you cant stop all the variables. if LSU shuts out this team in that env, Ill proclaim them the best defense we ever had even if its unfounded. i like the sound of it anyhow.

28 Tigahs 14 UF Les and Jimbo have learned the no running game early lesson, and JR Responds by surgically carving up UF with Short to intermediate passes. 3 TD Passes in first half ,2 to Bowe and 1 to Davis 21 7 at the half Hester TD dive late in the third. The D closes it out in the fourth with one Fumble recovery by Highsmith after a Patented Landry layout hit and another Steltz Int after Leak gets desperate to make something happen middle of the fourth. Then a garbage TD by UF with less than a minute left in the game. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. :thumb:

I think you guys should win. I would feel differently if Marcus Thomas was playing and Deshawn Wynn was 100 percent. But it wouldn't surprise me if you lost either. Auburn is a very good team, but they have one threat at WR in Courtney Taylor. Florida has more WR's this year than any year since Spurrier left. Defense is playing good. Defense is better when Thomas is in the middle stuffing the run and collapsing the pocket. DB's are alllowing some catches but they are making plays too. Alabama and UT were big wins but this one would be bigger. Spurrier has been gone 4 years now and you guys have won 3 out of the last 4. Whats funny about that is the one year you lost was the best team you guys have ever had. And you lost that game at home to a team coached by Zook with a true freshman QB in Chris Leak. Upsets can happen (see 1997 Gators/Tigers game in Baton Rouge).
